Cal Poly junior livestock show runs through Sunday in Paso Robles

Cal Poly’s Western Bonanza Junior Livestock Show will celebrate its 28th year this Presidents Day weekend at the Paso Robles Event Center.

The show is free and open to the public through Sunday, according to Cal Poly officials.

Western Bonanza began as a senior project at a cattle show in 1985. A management team of 30 Cal Poly students and more than 100 committee members hosts the junior livestock show with more than 450 exhibitors.

Exhibitors come from all over California and the Western United States, including Arizona and Oregon. Cal Poly’s students chose this year’s theme, “Wild, Wild Western Bonanza.”
