Drivers along the Cuesta Grade should expect the far-right southbound lane of Highway 101 to be closed up to six months as crews build a retaining wall along the freeway starting Tuesday.
The No. 3 lane will close from just north of the Grade to north of Ryan’s Gate, according to a Caltrans news release.
Bicyclists will be detoured through Old Stagecoach Road, the state roads agency says.
The $3.3 million project is expected to be completed in December.
