Police are reporting two suicides in public places in two days.
A man was found dead Monday morning, hanging by a dog leash from a tree at the corner of Pasadena Drive and Santa Ysabela Avenue in Los Osos.
At 7:20 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls about a body hanging from a tree, said Rob Bryn, sheriff’s spokesman. Deputies responded and confirmed the man, Anthony Sandukas, 53, of Paso Robles, was dead, and turned the investigation over to the coroner.
“It appears to be a suicide,” Bryn said.
