Youngsters at Vineyard Elementary School in Templeton participated Tuesday in a special assembly on campus.

The event featured a graduation for the school’s fifth-graders for completing the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program.

Students were also treated to entertainment from Retro Bill, a children’s speaker who travels to schools nationwide to talk about self-esteem and how to build good character
