For the third time in a year, a San Luis Obispo shoe store has been burglarized, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
Staley said the loss is estimated at about $50,000. He said that the store had signs of forced entry.
In addition, a window was broken at the business on Thursday, Jan. 5, but no items apparently were taken that day.
The business was broken into twice in March. About 800 UGG boots valued at about $100,000 were taken then, police said.
Staley said that the latest incident happened overnight. The theft was reported about 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 23.
