San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies continue to investigate reports of damage to vehicles and mailboxes that happened over the weekend in Los Osos.
They have received reports of at least 21 separate incidents in which tires were slashed on vehicles parked in Los Osos between Friday night and Saturday morning, said sheriff’s spokesman Rob Bryn. The damage appeared to have started in downtown Los Osos and then spread to other residential neighborhoods, he said.
In addition, some car windows were hit with pellets, and some mailboxes were also damaged, he said.
An overall damage estimate was not available. Deputies do not have any suspects, and it’s unknown whether the incidents are related. Anyone with information is asked to call 781-4632.
