Christmas Day will dawn cold and bright, then warm up with sunny skies across San Luis Obispo County, the National Weather Service said.
Tonight's overnight low in San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach will drop to 38 degrees. The North County should be even colder, with lows in the upper 20s.
But the air will be dry and rapidly warm on Sunday, with the high in SLO expected to reach 74 degrees, the weather service said. Paso Robles will be near 67, while Pismo Beach will reach 69.
Dry, clear weather will continue Monday, though daytime temperatures will drop slightly.

No rain is foreseen next week, but high clouds could steam over the area on Wednesday and again Friday, said local forecaster John Lindsey. Starting Tuesday, the dominant air flow over the county will be off the Pacific Ocean, leading to milder overnight temperatures.
