The public has until 5 p.m. Wednesday to submit applications for two seats on the Paso Robles Planning Commission. Interested candidates don’t have to be Paso Robles residents but must have a vested interest in the city.
The three-year voluntary terms expire Dec. 31, 2014.
The seven-member commission meets twice a month to review land-use planning and development issues, and it is in charge of the approval or denial of some development applications.
The position requires about 15 to 20 hours each month for meetings and meeting preparation, according to the city.
