Public invited to comment on new growth plan for Paso Robles

The public is invited to comment on an updated study outlining growth possibilities and related factors in Paso Robles. The San Luis Obispo Local Agency Formation Commission published the draft Nov. 17.

The agency, which governs annexations, is required to update its “sphere of influence” studies every five years or as needed, according to the report. The document outlines factors such as population, water and roads to be referenced in longterm planning decisions.

The deadline for public comments is 5 p.m. Jan. 2. They can be mailed to LAFCO Executive Officer David Church at 1042 Pacific St. in San Luis Obispo or to dchurch@SLOLAF CO.com  . The document is on the agency’s website, http://www.slolafco.com , under the “SOI Updates” tab.
