Burglars took $20,000 worth of tools, generators and other equipment from Templeton businesses over the weekend, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
The theft occurred between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 24 and 6 a.m. Oct. 25 at 212 Easy St., the department said in a news release. The victims were AC Contractors, Templeton Steel and Koker Metals.
The department said the burglars cut large holes in the fence on the property and used a hand truck that was in a creek to haul away the equipment.
Items taken included Makita drills, Milwaukee saws, a portable band saw, a Mikasa Jumping Jack soil compactor, and Honda EU3000 generators, the department said.
