Country band Alabama has been booked to play at the 2012 California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles.
The band will play at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 20 in the Main Grandstand Arena.
Alabama performed its farewell tour in 2003. The band will perform in 2012 as part of a reunion tour.
Alabama has had 43 No. 1 hits and is known for songs such as "Mountain Music," "Love In the First Degree," "Dixieland Delight" and "High Cotton."

The band has played at the Mid-State Fair seven times; from 1983 to 1987, in 1996 and 1999.
Tickets for the show will be $50, $65, $75 and $100. They will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.midstatefair.com, by calling (800) 909-FAIR or in person at the Mid-State Fair box office or any ValliTix outlet.
