The setting sun illuminates the fog as it rolls through the hills of Edna Valley. The storm system that brought more than an inch of rain to many parts of San Luis Obispo County on Wednesday has cleared out, leaving sunny and warm weather in its wake.
High pressure building over the California coastline will help temperatures warm into the 70s in the North County today, 80s this weekend and low 90s early next week. San Luis Obispo will be in the 70s today and Saturday and near 80 on Sunday.
Local forecaster John Lindsey says a cooling trend will develop late next week.
