A man and woman are needing help getting back up, Cal Fire reported in its Twitter feed about 12:15 p.m.
The hikers weren’t injured, Cal Fire said.
The agency says its multi-disciplinary technical rescue team and a rescue squad are heading to the scene, and a California Highway Patrol helicopter is assisting.
