A project to replace a drainage culvert along Highway 101 in Arroyo Grande will start Monday, according to Caltrans.
The southbound Highway 101 onramp at Traffic Way will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday next week.
Motorists can use Grand Avenue as an alternate access to the freeway, according to a Caltrans news release.
In addition, freeway shoulders at various locations between Traffic Way and Los Berros Road will be closed during mid-day hours.
All lanes along the highway will remain open during the project, which is expected to be complete by Labor Day.
San Luis Obispo-based Souza Construction is the contractor for the $33,000 project.
