UPDATE 12:40 p.m. Saturday: A missing Shandon man returned home Saturday morning and was subsequently arrested, according to the Sheriff's Department.

Around 9:18 a.m. Saturday, family members contacted the department to report that Rodolfo Contreras-Sanchez had come home.

Deputies went to the home and confirmed that he was safe and that he had been voluntarily missing, the department said in a news release.

Contreras-Sanchez was then arrested on an unrelated outstanding felony warrant and booked into County Jail.

Original story: The Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team and California Highway Patrol aircraft are looking for a 32-year-old Shandon man who went missing Wednesday night.

Rodolfo Contreras-Sanchez was last seen at his residence on Peaceful Valley Road at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

The department describes him as a Hispanic male adult, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair.
