A fire in the kitchen of a mobile home in San Luis Obispo on Saturday caused $100,000 in damage, according to the city's fire department.
Firefighters responded to the mobile home on South Higuera Street around 3 p.m. to find heavy smoke coming from the kitchen.
The resident of the mobile home, her granddaughter and four great-grandchildren all escaped after the granddaughter noticed the fire.
San Luis Obispo City fire crews extinguished the fire, and police officers evacuated neighboring residents.

The fire was confined to the kitchen and living room, but the damage made the mobile home uninhabitable.
The family, according the fire department, is saying with another family nearby. No one was injured.
Seventeen fire personnel responded to the fire.
The fire was determined to be accidental.
