In an apparent suicide attempt, a man jumped from the Santa Rosa Street overpass in San Luis Obispo onto the northbound lanes of Highway 101 this afternoon, said a spokesman for the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
Police, who would not release the man's name or age, said they got a call about the incident at 12:56 p.m.
No vehicles were involved in the incident.
The man was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center where he was treated for his non-life threatening injuries, said San Luis Obispo Police Sgt. Jeff Booth.
