Republican women are being invited to a membership meeting of the newly formed Central Coast Republican Women Federated organization, scheduled 11:30 a.m. May 13 at Testa’s Bistro, 113 S. College Drive in Santa Maria.
Following the pre-lunch reception, Santa Maria City Councilwoman Alice Patino will speak.
California’s Central Coast “has been elevated to a national battleground for 2012,” according to a press release from the organization, and the new group “is a key element to the GOP’s infrastructure growth in preparation for 2012.”
“We need Republicans in every region of the state to organize and prepare for what will be a pivotal election in our Nation’s history,” said federation president Etta Waterfield.
The cost is $15.
