The weather story Friday was cold rain showers across San Luis Obispo County. Today it could be snow — if the right combination of cold temperatures and precipitation occurs. The National Weather Service said the snow level would fall to between 500 and 1,000 feet overnight.
Today will be chilly, with highs in just the lower 40s. With winds gusting to 20 mph, it will feel even colder.
Showers are forecast throughout the day before skies start clearing tonight. That will make for a cold evening, with lows falling into the 20s in the North County and 30s elsewhere.
Sunday should be sunny, with highs rising into the mid-40s to mid-50s. Another night of low temperatures in the 30s are expected Sunday night.
