Temperatures are remaining cool today, and by tonight, cloud cover should clear so that evening temperatures can drop into the 30s in San Luis Obispo and high 20s in the North County, the National Weather Service says.
The coming week will feature below-normal temperatures thanks to a cool mass of air that will sit over California, the NWS said.
There is a chance of showers returning on Tuesday, but forecasting the chances for that is tricky due to the possibility the storm will stay offshore, the weather service said.
Otherwise, the coming work week looks dry up to Friday. Then a new chance of rain enters the forecast.
High temperatures in San Luis Obispo this week will remain in the 50s. Overnight lows will be in the 20s, 30s and 40s, depending on proximity to the coast.
