Someone said they found a neon yellow safety vest on the ground in the creek area across from Rabobank.

10:08 a.m. Jan. 31, 3950 Broad St. in San Luis Obispo
Someone on a bike was reportedly looking into cars.
5:20 p.m. Jan. 31, 1540 Froom Ranch Way in San Luis Obispo
A woman was reportedly in the roadway, staring at the sky.
10:05 p.m. Jan. 31, 600 block of Brizzolara Street in San Luis Obispo
A man said he was unloading his firearm and it went off. No one was hurt.
11:17 a.m. Feb. 1, 100 block of Carpenter Street in San Luis Obispo
Someone said they found a golf cart halfway down his driveway.
Hit and run and leave evidence
8:30 a.m. Feb. 3, 891 Price St. in Pismo Beach
An employee at Giuseppe’s restaurant said someone hit a planter and destroyed it. The license plate from the vehicle was left at the scene.
Sounds cramped8:37 p.m. Feb. 3, 581 Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo
Approximately 20 people between 18 and 20 years old were reportedly “partying” in a disabled-access parking space.
11:20 p.m. Feb. 3, 989 Chorro St. in San Luis Obispo
A man in Mission Plaza was reportedly throwing rocks and plants at the customers at Native Lounge.
You need a more believable scam
11:26 a.m. Feb. 3, 300 block of Ocean View Avenue in Pismo Beach
A woman said she received a call from a man who said his first name was C.C. and he worked for the IRS. He asked for her by name and said she had won $5,000 for paying her taxes. He then asked for her bank account number so the funds could be deposited. She refused and said the IRS already had her account on file. The man said he needed to confirm. She refused again and hung up.

8:07 p.m. Feb. 4, Broad St. in San Luis Obispo
A man was sitting on the patio at Village Host and reportedly tried to pay for a drink with a cigarette.
That’s one way to pass the time
12 p.m. Feb. 5, 849 Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo
A man near the Wineman Hotel had been singing for the past hour.
9:55 p.m. Feb. 5, 1119 Garden St. in San Luis Obispo
The doorman at SLO Brew reportedly took a person’s ID and tore it in half. The person called 911 and asked police to respond.
9:37 p.m. Feb. 5, 555 James Way in Pismo Beach
A patron said they left dinner at Yanagi early because of a large group of college students who appeared intoxicated were loud and picking fights with the other patrons. The patron said there were about 12 in the group. Officers stood by and said the group left.
