Four more concert acts have been booked for the 2011 California Mid-State Fair.
Chicago, country singer Jason Aldean, The Steve Miller Band and Train and Maroon 5 will all perform at this year's fair, officials announced over the weekend.
The Steve Miller Band, known for songs like "The Joker" and "Fly Like An Eagle," will perform Wednesday, July 20 - the opening night of the fair. Tickets will be $25, $35, $45 or $70.
Train and Maroon 5 will perform together July 23. Train is known for the hits "Hey Soul Sister" and 2002's "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)." Maroon 5's songs include "Won't Go Home Without You" and "She Will Be Loved." Tickets for the show will be $30, $40, $50 or $75.
Country singer Jason Aldean is scheduled to perform July 26. He's had five No. 1 hits, including "My Kinda Party," "Big Green Tractor" and "Hicktown." Tickets for his show will be $30, $40, $50 or $75.
Chicago will perform July 29 in the fair's annual "Evening of Music and Wine." Chicago is known for songs such as "You're the Inspiration" and "Hard to Say I'm Sorry." Tickets for the show will be $35 for Grandstand seats and $55 for Golden Circle seats. All table seating is already sold out, but a waiting list is available by calling
Tickets for all shows go on sale March 4. They can be purchased at http://www.midstatefair.com, by calling (800) 909-FAIR or in person at the California Mid-State Fair box office in Paso Robles or at any Vallitix location.
The 2011 California Mid-State Fair is schedule for July 20 through July 31. Other concert acts already booked include Lady Antebellum, Sugarland and Kid Rock. Concerts for five nights of the fair have yet to be booked.
