2:53 p.m. Jan. 2, 179 California Blvd. in San Luis Obispo

Two males were reported skimboarding into traffic at a flooded intersection.

12:35 a.m. Jan. 3, 300 block of Esparto Avenue in Pismo Beach

A woman said someone was knocking at her door, and when she said hello, they didn’t answer. She also didn’t see anyone when she looked out. Her dogs were inside, barking. Officers checked the area, but found nothing.

The Jell-O is tasty

6:51 a.m. Jan. 3, 1010 Murray St. in San Luis Obispo

A man allegedly stole food from the kitchen at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center.

Age-old problem

12:57 p.m. Jan. 3, Pismo Shore Estate in Pismo Beach

Two teenagers were reportedly in the hot tub, making out.

Nice try

9:24 a.m. Jan. 4, 11590 Los Osos Valley Road in San Luis Obispo

A gas station employee was allegedly captured on video taking money.

3:36 p.m. Jan. 4, 1300 block of Oceanaire Drive in San Luis Obispo

A man said he thought there was a bomb in his room, as he heard ticking.

Urban workout

4:32 p.m. Jan. 4, 682 Palm St. in San Luis Obispo

Someone was reportedly running and jumping off the stairs and climbing on ledges at Mission College Prep.

Dinner and a movie

12:58 a.m. Jan. 5, 692 Marsh St. in San Luis Obispo

Someone reportedly stole a sandwich and DVD from 7-11.

Looks can be deceiving

3:49 p.m. Jan. 6, 600 Price St. in Pismo Beach

A woman at a salon said a creepy-looking man was standing outside the front door, and she believed he was possibly going to rob her. Officers said no one was standing in front of the business, but they found a man nearby, who said he ran out of gas and asked for a phone book to call his neighbor.

10:26 a.m. Jan. 7, 1090 Buchon St. in San Luis Obispo

A woman said she had just seen someone riding her stolen bike.

Nothing good here

7:29 p.m. Jan. 7, 1400 block of Royal Way in San Luis Obispo

Someone found a window wedged open, and all the cupboards were open, but nothing was taken.


11:01 a.m. Jan. 8, Ocean View Avenue in Pismo Beach

Three males in hockey masks were walking northbound, reportedly threatening people. They were said to be wearing black sweatshirts and one said, “We are going to f— you up.” Officers checked the area but were unable to find anyone, and other people in the area said they did not notice anything.
