SLO County

The county administration issued its annual report Tuesday, which may not be a big surprise considering it’s the beginning of the year. But this time county leaders have made it available online for the first time and added numerous bells and whistles, including links to other local governments.

County Administrative Officer Jim Grant, rolling out the report to an enthusiastic Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, said all departments contributed to it in an attempt to “enhance communication with the public.”

The idea is to make county government more understandable and responsive to citizens, Grant said.

County residents can access the interactive report by going to the county’s website at www.slocounty.ca.gov.
