For the first time, the county administration has posted issued its annual report online and added numerous bells and whistles, including links to other local governments.
County Administrative Officer Jim Grant, who presented the report to the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, said all departments contributed to it in an attempt to “enhance communication with the public.”
The idea is to make county government more understandable and responsive to citizens, he said.
County residents can access the interactive report by going to the county’s website at http://www.slocounty.ca.gov/admin/2010_Annual_Report.htm.
