County Veterans Services Officer Paul Burns will talk about governmental changes and answer questions about veterans benefits at a meeting of Cambria American Legion Post No. 432 at 7 p.m. today at the Veterans Memorial Building, 1000 Main St., Cambria.
Burns, a U.S. Navy Seabee for more than 20 years, was hired by the county in September to advocate for veterans, as well as their dependents and survivors, by providing information and services that will enable them to receive a variety of benefits, including monetary and medical benefits from federal, state and local agencies.
The public is welcome to attend the meeting.
