The two women who were shot and killed at a home on Santa Margarita Ranch on Christmas night have been identified as sisters Kathy Yeager, 61, and Beverly Reilly, 64.
Both women lived outside San Luis Obispo County, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department. Reilly was from Bishop. Yeager's hometown was not released.
Autopsies are scheduled for Wednesday, authorities said.
Karl Wittstrom, one of the owners of Santa Margarita Ranch, said the home belongs to the ranch's cattle foreman, Jeff McKee.

Wittstrom said both McKee and his wife were unharmed, and that the victims were McKee's mother-in-law and her sister. They were house sitting.
Atascadero resident Andrew Wesley Downs has been arrested in connection with the womens' deaths. A motive has not yet been identified.
Downs allegedly left the home off West Pozo Road after the 6:30 p.m. shootings and stole three cars before being arrested just after 3 a.m. Sunday, after he allegedly broke into a home off Del Rio Road in Atascadero and beat a man living there.
