Several locations offering free meals this holiday season

Several community organizations are offering free Christmas meals for those in need. Here is where meals will be served:

San Luis Obispo

The Prado Day Center will offer breakfast Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., 43 Prado Road. St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will offer breakfast Saturday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., 1344 Nipomo St.

The Maxine Lewis Memorial shelter will serve lunch at noon Saturday, 750 Orcutt Road.

Christmas dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Saturday at Oddfellows Hall, 520 Dana St. Ride-on will provide a shuttle to the dinner leaving at 4:15 from the Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter, with return to the shelter.

North County

St. William’s Catholic Church will serve lunch from noon Saturday, 6410 Santa Lucia Road, Atascadero. Information: 466-0849.

El Camino Homeless Organization will serve breakfast at 7 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, 6370 Atascadero Mall Ave., Atascadero. Information: 462-3663.

The Assembly of God Church will provide Christmas dinner and entertainment Saturday to ECHO clients. Check into the shelter by 4 p.m. to catch a shuttle to the dinner.

South County

People’s Kitchen in Grover Beach serves lunch at noon every day at Shouts of Grace Church, 675 W. Grand Ave., Grover Beach. Patrons are advised to arrive at 11:30 a.m.

Brad’s Restaurant in Pismo Beach will offer a traditional Christmas dinner from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday with turkey, ham and trimmings. 209 Pomeroy Ave., Pismo Beach. Information: 773-6165.

North Coast

Cambria Vineyard Church will have a food ministry day from 12 to 2 p.m. today, in which canned and dry food will be dispersed. 1617 Main St., Cambria. Information: 927-5550.
