The captain and crew of a fishing vessel featured on the Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch” paid a visit Wednesday to Cracked Crab restaurant in Pismo Beach after receiving an invitation from owner Mike Lee.

Lee asked the crew of the North American to visit after a trip to buy 6,000 pounds of crab in Alaska’s Dutch Harbor. Capt. Sten Skaar and crewmembers Travis Arket, Terje Kvinge and Henry Pagh all appeared in the fourth season of the show.

The group will visit the restaurant again today from 2 to 6 p.m. to sign copies of “Deadliest Waters: Bering Sea Photographer,” a nonfiction book by Arket about life on the Alaskan fishing boat.
