Get ready for rain this weekend.
After a work week of summer-like weather, the weekend forecast is for cooler temperatures and chances of rain as two storm systems head toward the Central Coast.
Daytime highs will fall from the 80s and 90s of past days to the 60s on Saturday, said local forecaster John Lindsey.
A low-pressure area offshore will make for gray skies today, then the storm will move across the county Saturday afternoon, bringing light showers, said Lindsey.

“A stronger weather system will approach our area on Sunday and spread rain north to south across the Central Coast by Sunday evening,” Lindsey said. Rainfall amounts will range from a tenth to a quarter-inch.
Temperatures will remain in the 60s countywide into the middle of next week.
Another storm system could arrive at the end of next week, said Lindsey, a PG&E communications specialist.
