Monday had the feel of summer thanks to sunshine that burned off the fog early in San Luis Obispo, but at Cuesta College, the fall session got under way. A banner near the Student Center declared the official beginning to the semester, and students filled walkways as they headed to classes or caught up with friends. Cuesta has more than 10,000 students enrolled in the main campus, the North County campus in Paso Robles and South County learning centers. The fall semester will continue to Dec. 17.
