Cal Fire officials said damage from a fire that destroyed a double-wide mobile home east of Paso Robles on Monday afternoon totaled $124,000, including $40,000 worth of damage to the residence and $50,000 to its contents.
In addition, the barn had $20,000 worth of damage. One vehicle was also damaged; a second was a complete loss.
Red Cross was called out to help the family, which includes three children ages 9, 7 and 1 year old. The family was not identified Monday.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to Communications Operator Michelle Aguilar.
A family of five is homeless after their mobile home east of Paso Robles was destroyed by fire Monday afternoon.
The fire, which was first reported at 2:46 p.m., destroyed the double-wide mobile home and a 3,000 to 4,000-square-foot barn filled with hay at 4480 Buena Vista Drive, according to Cal Fire.
Two acres of vegetation also burned, and a propane tank at the side of the residence was threatened.
Red Cross was called out to help the displaced family.
