A two-acre brush fire near Pozo has been contained by Cal Fire, but the car that started it continues to burn.
The fire started at 10:29 a.m. when a car crashed into a utility pole near 3851 Las Pilitas Road and caught on fire, according to Cal Fire. The fire then spread to the nearby vegetation before being contained at 11:22 a.m.
Fire crews had to wait for PG&E officials to cut the power to the downed wires before the car fire could be extinguished.
Crews will likely be on scene until early afternoon cleaning up.

Cal Fire officials did not know how many people were in the car at the time of accident or if anyone was injured.
