Tommy Lynn Loyd was crowned the 2010 Miss California Mid-State Fair on Tuesday night.
Thirteen participants, ages 17 to 21 years old, competed for this year’s title in front of a crowd of spectators at the Fort Frontier Stage.
The fair opens today and runs through Aug. 1.
Miss California Mid-State Fair and two Fair Princesses serve as year-round ambassadors to the fair, appearing in parades, ribbon cuttings, meetings and other public events.
Loyd, 19, is a graduate of Paso Robles High School and works at Kennedy Club Fitness in Paso Robles.
Karlee Anderson is the first runner up, and Emily Von Dollen is the second runner up.
