Counseling available today for people mourning SLO teen hit by train

Grief counselors will be available for friends, family and classmates of Oscar Gonzalez, the 17-year-old San Luis Obispo boy who was killed Thursday when he was hit by an Amtrak train.

Counselors from Hospice of San Luis Obispo County will offer crisis response services starting at 1 p.m. today at the San Luis Obispo City Parks and Recreation Department office, 1341 Nipomo St. in San Luis Obispo. All community members are welcome.
