A vegetation fire burned about one acre of dry grass along a public walkway on Tuesday afternoon.
At 1:08 p.m., Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services firefighters responded to a fire at 600 Nickerson Drive and found mowed vegetation burning along the public access walkway behind CentennialPark.
No homes were threatened, according to authorities, and no property was damaged. Firefighters were aided by previously completed weed abatement on the property, they said.
