Community members are invited to two meetings this week to further identify and prioritize what "21st century skills" are needed most by students in the Lucia Mar school district.
School board members of the South County district have started efforts to develop a strategic plan – including a mission, values and vision – that will guide the South County district for the next five to 10 years.
The meetings will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the Olympic Hall at Nipomo High School, located at 525 N. Thompson Road and Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the multi-purpose room of Arroyo Grande High School, located at 495 Valley Road.
