Two men were arrested on Thursday evening after county sheriff’s deputies found jet skis and a trailer that were stolen from a location in Arroyo Grande on May 4.

David Galvan Jr., 26, and Gabriel Barros, 31, were arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property, according to Sheriff’s Department spokesman Rob Bryn.

Deputies were called to a home in the 300 block of York Street in Oceano at 5:36 p.m. Thursday after a report of some people using another resident’s garden hose to wash their jet skis on a trailer.

Another person reported finding a bent trailer license plate in a nearby trash can, according to a news release from Bryn. Officials checked the plate and determined the property had been stolen.

Galvan and Barros were booked into County Jail; bail was set at $20,000 each. They remained in jail on Friday.
