Man sought after allegedly holding knife to brother's throat in Paso Robles

Sheriff’s investigators on Tuesday were looking for a man who allegedly held his brother at knifepoint earlier this week.

Investigators said David Joseph Muracchioli, 41, was involved in a family disturbance that escalated into a physical altercation that led to him holding the knife to his brother’s throat.

When deputies responded to the 4800 block of Estrella Road in Paso Robles on Monday night, Muracchioli fled the scene. His brother, who deputies said was able to take control of the knife, suffered several cuts to his hands.

The Sheriff’s Department recommends anyone who sees Muracchioli call 911 to report his location.
