Deputies looking for two men who robbed man at gunpoint in rural Arroyo Grande

Sheriff’s deputies are trying to identify two men who robbed a Nipomo man at gunpoint on Sunday afternoon.

The Nipomo man had just returned from the Nipomo Swap Meet to a produce storage facility, located in the 2400 block of Los Berros Road in Arroyo Grande, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Department.

Two men wearing black ski masks entered the back of the facility, threatened the victim, tied his hands and feed with duct tape, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, according to Sheriff’s officials.

A person living near the storage facility heard the man yelling and called deputies.

The two men were described as possibly Hispanic and of medium build. One of the men was wearing a black sweater and blue jeans; the other may have been wearing yellow boots made of animal skin similar to a crocodile texture.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 549-STOP, go to http://www.slotips.org or text SLOTIPS plus a message to CRIMES (274637).
