Cuesta students to join Sacramento protest

Ninety Cuesta College students will travel to Sacramento Monday to participate in the March for Higher Education rally.

The Associated Students of Cuesta College chartered two buses to take students interested in protesting proposed cuts to higher education funding.

The buses are departing at 3 a.m. from the North County and San Luis Obispo campuses.

The students will march alongside what is expected to be thousands of their peers from Raley Field in west Sacramento to the north steps of the State Capitol.
