Prado Day Center in SLO needs breakfast food for homeless

Because of increased demand, the Prado Day Center is in need of breakfast food to feed the homeless population of San Luis Obispo.

The center is in need of tubs of margarine or butter, juice, milk, cold cereal, jelly/jam, sliced bread and bagels. The center also need disposable bowls, plates, spoons and cups.

Volunteer Laurence Houlgate says that actual direct contributions of foodstuffs, rather than money, will more quickly alleviate the immediate shortfall.

Take the items to the Prado Day Center, 43 Prado Road, between Highway 101 and South Higuera Street, in San Luis Obispo.
