A Tribute to David Carradine

What: Actor Robert Carradine and his son Ian perform a musical tribute to David Carradine of “Kung Fu” and “Kill Bill” fame, followed by a screening of the Woody Guthrie biopic “Bound for Glory.”

When: 2 p.m. reception, 4 p.m. screening

Where: Studios on the Park, 1130 Pine St., Paso Robles; Park Cinemas, 1100 Pine St., Paso Robles

How much: Free reception; $7 to $9 film screening. Passes to all festival events can be purchased at festival headquarters, 1021 Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo.

Shorts on the Beach

What: This fun series of short films kicks off with “Un Café Pour L’Amerique,” “Adelaide,” “Daisy” and “Furtissimo.” Tune in Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for more shorts.
