Hotelier Phyllis Madonna is performing onstage for the last time this year at her 23rd annual fashion and variety show. “Lights, Camera, Action!” is the theme of this year’s Phyllis’ Musical Revue. It is being held with the goal of raising $200,000 for the Women’s Shelter Program of San Luis Obispo.
Local celebrities and politicians are modeling, singing and dancing to classic movie scores to raise money to help keep open the shelter’s confidential safe house for abused women and children.
Tickets are still available at the Alex Madonna Expo Center in San Luis Obispo for today’s final two shows. The lunch show will be held at 11 a.m., with tickets costing $60 to $70, and the dinner show will start at 5:30 for $110 to $120, followed by music and dancing.
