Portion of Los Osos Valley Road in SLO to be repaved

March 03, 2010 12:55 PM

The stretch of Los Osos Valley Road between the Highway 101 northbound and southbound on and off-ramps will be repaved.

Recent storms caused the road’s condition to severely deteriorate, leaving noticeable potholes and poor surface areas that have plagued motorists.

The San Luis Obispo City Council agreed Tuesday to allow staff to seek bids for the repair, which is expected to cost about $120,000. City staff has attempted to place temporary patches on the potholes but it has not been a good fix, according to city staff.
