A part of Highway 41 will be closed to motorists during daylight hours Wednesday and Thursday so Caltrans crews can stabilize areas of rock slides and erosion.
The closures will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and involve the stretch of Highway 41 from the intersection with Highway 46 at the Cholame Y to the intersection of Highway 33 in Kings County.
To get drivers around the closure, traffic will be re-routed along Highways 46 and 33. The detour will add 27 miles.
