Just after 1 p.m., Morro Bay officers and county sheriff’s deputies searched their home on the 400 block of Java Street based on information obtained in an ongoing investigation, according to police.
The search turned up drug paraphernalia and an estimated $3,000 worth of stolen tools and electronics, police said.
The purportedly stolen items are believed to be from what police described as a recent surge in thefts from vehicles in Morro Bay and other parts of San Luis Obispo County.
