A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary after allegedly being caught unplugging electronics in a San Luis Obispo apartment.
Just before 1 a.m. Friday, a 21-year-old man returned home to his apartment at 1269 Murray Street, according to police. Through the window, the man, identified as Brian Sinclair, saw someone standing inside, holding his unplugged computer. When Sinclair entered his apartment, he saw that other electronic equipment had been unplugged and moved from their original locations.
Sinclair confronted the suspect and the two struggled. The burglar was able to run from the apartment.
While police searched the neighborhood, Sinclair saw the suspect standing near the apartments at 1262 Murray Street. Sinclair and other witnesses chased after the man, who ran into a nearby apartment.

Officers arrived and arrested Adrian Joshue Garcia, of San Luis Obispo, after Sinclair identified him as the burglar.
Garcia was booked into County Jail on suspicion of residential burglary. Bail was set at $40,000.
