A homeless man who allegedly kept a van full of computer equipment to access child pornography was arrested last week.
Lawrence Alan Baughman, 68, was arrested Jan. 7 in Oceano on suspicion of possessing child pornography.
Baughman lived in his car, according to sheriff's officials, but apparently kept a separate van that he stored computer equipment in. He would allegedly move from place to place plugging into outside power receptacles and downloading images with an air card.
Detectives found thousands of images of child pornography on Baughman's computer, according to officials. Hundreds of disks thought to contain similar images have also been seized.
