A 72-year old man who allegedly threatened his girlfriend at a Cayucos home and brandished a firearm was booked into county jail Saturday morning.
Raymond Tillman allegedly threatened the woman in a house at St. Mary and H Streets shortly after 9 p.m. on Friday. The woman’s name is being withheld by the Sheriff’s Department, which responded to the call along with the Morro Bay Police Department and the California Highway Patrol.
According to a Sheriff’s Department press release, “a domestic dispute had accelerated into an altercation.” Officers searched unsuccessfully for Tillman at the Cayucos house, and arrested him just before 1 a.m. Saturday at a relative’s house off Highway 58 in North County.
Tillman was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, making terrorist threats and brandishing a firearm.
